Can we choose the music and give you a do-not-play list?
Yes. Share your favourite genres, must-play songs and anything you do not want played. Include the songs for your entrance, first dance and other special moments. We use your preferences alongside reading the room to shape the music for you and your guests.
Do you take song requests from guests?
We welcome requests and consider them alongside your music preferences, do-not-play list and the atmosphere on the dance floor. Let us know during planning if you would prefer guest requests to be limited.
Can you cover our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception?
Yes. Tell us which parts of the day need music, microphones or MC support. We’ll quote for the coverage and setup you need, including any changes of location within the venue. Your quote will confirm the services and timings included.
Can we plan our wedding entertainment from overseas?
Yes. We can discuss your plans remotely and coordinate details with your wedding planner or hotel contact. Share your date, venue, guest count and outline timeline when you enquire, even if some details are still to be decided.
Who will DJ our wedding, and can we discuss our plans beforehand?
Tell us if you are enquiring specifically about DJ Romanus. If he is not available for your wedding date, we will let you know and give you the option of another DJ from the Soul O Bliss team. You can decide whether you would like to proceed with another team DJ. We’ll discuss the DJ arrangements with you before booking, along with your music, MC and planning needs.
What affects the price of our wedding DJ booking?
Your quote depends on the date, venue, coverage times, guest count and services requested. Ceremony sound, additional event spaces, lighting, booths and other extras can affect the setup and price. We’ll outline what is included so you can review the details before booking.
How do setup times and outdoor weddings work?
We agree access and setup arrangements with you and your venue or planner before the event. For outdoor celebrations, discuss a suitable covered setup area and a weather backup location with the venue. Venue restrictions and any changes between ceremony and reception spaces should be included in the planning.
How early should we enquire, and what secures our date?
Enquire as soon as you have a date and venue in mind so we can check availability. Your date is secured after the agreed booking documents and payment requirements are completed and we confirm your booking. The payment schedule and any change or cancellation terms are set out in your agreement.
